Polyjet Process:

Acrylic Polymer prototyping is an inkjet technology that works by jetting layers of photopolymer onto a build tray, layer by layer, until the part is completed. Each layer is cured by UV light immediately after it is jetted.

Acrylic polymer models offer outstanding surface features and fine details. Their horizontal layers of 16 microns (0.0006") are the highest resolution available in the RP industry.

Layer Thickness: Horizontal build layers down to 16 microns (0.0006 inches).

Build Resolution: X axis: 600 dpi. Y axis: 300 dpi. Z axis: 1600 dpi.

Lead time: Normally 1-3 business days depending on the capacity of the printers when the order is placed. Local customers are welcomed to pick up models from our facility

Polymer Advantages:

High quality: Market-leading resolution of 16microns ensures smooth, accurate and highly detailed parts and models.

Highly accurate: Precise jetting and build material properties enables fine details and thin walls (600µ or less depending on geometry and materials). Typical tolerance of just 0.1mm, layer thickness of 16µ (0.0006”) and thin walls down to 0.6mm (0.024”).

Versatile: The wide variety of materials enables parts with different geometries, mechanical properties, and colors;

Polyjet Models are perfect for:

Capturing fine feature detail
Patterns for molding
High resolution prototypes
Smooth surface
Fine resolution colored models
